Q: When is the Homeschool Climbing Class?

A: Tuesday’s from 1:00-3:00pm

Q: How much does it cost?

A: $89/month or $30 per drop in

Q: What is the group size of the club?

A: We can have up to 10 club members.

Q: Does this club include a membership?

A: YES! All participants in the Homeschool Climbing Club are full fledged members of Climb Moab and are eligible for member benefits. If your child is under 14, they will require direct supervision by an adult outside of the class.

Q: Where is it?

A: Climb Moab Gym! 11850 S Hwy 191, Unit A8, Moab, UT.

Q: What age group is this club for?

A: Ages 5 and up are welcome to register. We are interested in growing to multiple, age-specific sessions if there is enough interest so please don’t hesitate to sign up!

Q: What do participants do during the class?

A: All classes start with a warm up and ice breaker. Our instructors then work through teaching climbing skills and games that are age appropriate and fun for all participants. Every week, there are new routes at Climb Moab through which your child will learn new techniques and puzzle solving skills. Then, students all cool down with flexibility exercises to increase mobility on and off the climbing wall.

Q: Is this a safe activity for my child to partake in?

A: While all climbing is inherently dangerous, we have a state of the art facility that prioritizes the comfort and security of all our guests. Our instructors are trained to make sure the Homeschool Climbing Class is run with as much care and compassion as you would give to your own children!

Our Homeschool Climbing Class runs during school hours from 1pm to 3pm on Tuesdays.

Climbing offers so much to participants of any age. When learning to climb, your child will learn not just technique, but also develop motor, communication, and puzzle-solving skills. Our curriculum is taught by experienced instructors and includes exercises in teamwork, strategy, skill building, and self-confidence in both their emotional and physical selves.

This class is designed to above all, foster a love of climbing and an enjoyment of physical movement.
